A very rare thing happened on 3 June–AR Rahman, who usually keeps to himself and his business, and rarely meddles in politics tweeted, "Beautiful decision. Hindi is not compulsory in Tamil Nadu... The draft has been edited"–which shows just how serious Tamil Nadu is when it comes to Hindi imposition.
