Wake up on Friday to celebrate the World Sleep Day. Yup! We are not playing with your sleepy head, there is such a day and it’s today. World Sleep Day is an annual event that’s been backed by the World Association of Sleep Medicine (WASM) since 2008. Actually!

Now, who would have thought that nearly 93% Indians are sleep-deprived - but that is exactly what has been revealed by a study, reports The Times Of India.

It’s tough being a Presidential Guard, especially when you have to wake up the President from deep sleep. A guard tries to wake up former Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid. We wondered if his back hurt after that nap.

Former Chinese President Jiang Zemin (R) takes a nap beside a pretty focused looking President Hu Jintao. Sitting up has gotta be the toughest ‘sleep posture’. Good balancing act.
