India bagged yet another series trophy on Sunday in Kolkata despite losing the third ODI by 5 runs. Virat Kohli accepted the winners trophy, for the first time, after replacing MS Dhoni as the leader in the shorter format.
However, on the day, MS Dhoni too was feted. India's most successful skipper was handed a citation and memento by India's first World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev.
'For a glorious decades of captaincy' screamed a banner as the packed 67000-capacity crowd screamed Dhoni, Dhoni with his footage being displayed on the giant screen during the felicitation ceremony.
