Kangana Looks Every Bit of a Queen at ‘Manikarnika’ Music Launch

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi stars Kangana Ranaut, who plays the warrior queen, along with Ankita Lokhande, Jisshu Sengupta, Atul Kulkarni and Danny Denzongpa in important roles. The film has been helmed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi (Krish) and Kangana Ranaut.

The team launched the music of Manikarnika on 9 January with Kangana, Ankita, Prasoon Joshi and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy attending the event.

Manikarnika brings to life the story of the legendary Lakshmibai who transformed from a young queen to a warrior mother who took on the British on the battle field to save her kingdom. Kangana has chanelled royalty and fierceness in equal doses in her portraiture of the queen.
