Ahead of the release of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala on 7 November, the cast has been out and about promoting the film. The film stars Ayushmann, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam. It is directed by Amar Kaushik.

Ever since the release of its trailer, Bala has been in the news for its plot similarities with Ujda Chaman. The latter releases on 1 November. Bala stars Ayushmann as a young bald man while Ujda Chaman, a remake of the 2017 Kannada movie Ondu Motteya Kathe, features Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star Sunny Singh in a similar role.
