At least 16 Killed After Deadly Storms Hit Southeast US

Extensive damage was reported in parts of Georgia

• At least 16 people were killed after powerful storms tore through southeastern America this weekend, authorities said.
• At least 12 people were killed on Sunday in a rural part of south-central Georgia, according to the state's Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS). Extensive damage was also reported in parts of Georgia.
• Four others were killed and 20 others injured on Saturday morning after a tornado swept through southern Mississippi, authorities said.
