Ten Killed, Four Injured in Suicide Attack near Kabul, Afghanistan

The attack comes moments after the Afghan Taliban’s successor was named.

  • Ten people were killed and four wounded, after a suicide bomber targeted a bus carrying staff from an appeal court on the way back to Wardak province, near the Afghan capital of Kabul.


  • No immediate claim was made for the incident that took place at 9 am local time in Bagh-e-Daoud area of Paghman district. The attack comes moments after the Taliban confirmed the successor of Mullah Akhtar Mansoor as Haibatullah Akhunzada.
