Social media users are using Pokemon Go to make strong political arguments which highlight the invasion of Palestine by Israel. References to the Apartheid Wall, which is a concrete wall built by the Israelis to annex territory, as well as to the Al Aqsa Mosque, which is a disputed place of worship for both Muslims and Jews, have been made vividly.

While the world is in raptures about latest gaming trends, it is only intelligent to use those to send a loud and clear message to the international community and ask them to spare a thought for the hundreds who are losing their lives and livelihoods in Palestine.
