What we found: We divided the video into multiple screenshots and ran a Google reverse image on some of them.

  • It led us to the original video posted on Facebook by actress Sanjjanaa Galrani on 26 October. It was posted with the caption, “Who is Lucky?”

  • The video had a disclaimer at the end of the video as well as in the caption.

  • It read, "Thank you for watching! Please note that this page features scripted dramas, parodies, and awareness videos. We also found the same video on a YouTube page called 3rd Eye. The channel's YouTube bio read, "Sometimes funny, sometimes serious, always shareable, with lots of Action, drama , comedy and informatic. New videos posted daily!"

We have previously fact-checked social media users sharing Galrani's videos as real life incidents. You can read some of the stories here and here.

Conclusion: A scripted video is being falsely shared as a real life incident of a woman riding off with another man on a two-wheeler.
