A claim is going viral on social media which states that Russia has recently signed a deal with Pakistan to sell dozens of Mi-35 attack helicopters.

What's the truth?: Russia agreed to sell four MI 35 attack helicopters to Pakistan but back in 2018, not recently.

• No recent confirmation has been issued by either of the countries.

How did we find out the truth?: We performed a relevant keyword search on Google and this led us to several old reports from 2018.

• According to The Economic Times and Voice of America, published in August 2018, Russia sold four Mi-35M combat helicopters to Pakistan.

• Moreover, we did not find any recent report which backs the claim, which would be case if a deal would have been signed.

• Neither did we find any official announcement on either of the country's government website.
