Following the knife attack on actor Saif Ali Khan in his Mumbai home by an intruder, three images showing him in a hospital bed with actor Salman Khan sitting next to him are being shared to claim that it shows the latter visiting him at the hospital.

What we found: At first, we noticed some discrepancies with some images. The area around Salman Khan's eye looked distorted and one of his fingers were missing.

We, also, noticed a small, blurry logo of Grok AI, a generative AI chatbot, in its bottom right corner.

We, then, ran the image on AI-detection websites such as Hive Moderation and Sightengine. Following are the results:
Hive Moderation declared all three as AI-generated.
However, Sightengine was uncertain about one image deeming it with 53% AI content, while the other two were declared, "likely AI-generated" by the tool. Swipe right to see the results.

Attack on Saif Ali Khan: Khan was discharged from Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday, 21 January, where he underwent surgery after being grievously injured by an intruder at his Bandra home on 16 January.
Mumbai police arrested the prime accused in the case on19 January, three days after the attack, and identified the accused as 30-year-old Mohammad Shariful Islam alias Vijay Das.
Conclusion: These three AI-generated images of Salman Khan visiting Saif Ali Khan in the hospital have gone viral as real on social media.
