Government Relieves Non-Government Officials From Their Duties

The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday released an order relieving non-government advisors, chairmen, members in corporations, committees and departments from their duties.

Reveal Details of Assets in 15 Days, Adityanath Tells Ministers

In one of his first directives after taking oath as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Adityanath asked his ministers to reveal the details of all their assets, movable or immovable, within 15 days. Weeding out corruption from the state would be the most important agenda for the government, he told reporters.

Two Slaughterhouses in Allahabad Sealed

Two slaughter houses in Uttar Pradesh's Allahabad were on Monday sealed by the Nagar Nigam authorities.

BJP Yogi Adityanath Takes Oath as New UP CM

After days of speculation, Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on 19 March. Deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma, 22 cabinet ministers, and nine ministers of state (independent charge) and 13 ministers of state, also took oath.

MoS Mohsin Raza is the only Muslim face in Yogi’s council. The new CM held his first cabinet meeting shortly after taking oath on Sunday.
