Even as votes are being counted for the Gujarat Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has registered a win in 32 seats (as of 2.48 pm), while the Congress has won 23, according to the Election Commission of India.

The BJP is leading in 98 seats, while the Congress is leading in 81 seats in the 182-seat Assembly.
