Black Hawk Helicopter With 3 Crew Members Crashes in Minnesota
A Black Hawk helicopter with three crew members aboard crashed Thursday in central Minnesota, the Minnesota National Guard said, though officials did not offer any immediate information about the conditions of crew members.
The Guard tweeted that the UH-60 crashed south of St. Cloud and that authorities were on the scene.

HC Dismisses Election Petition Against PM
The Allahabad High Court on Friday dismissed the petition that had challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election from Varanasi parliamentary constituency.
Justice Manoj Gupta passed the order on an election petition filed by Tej Bahadur Yadav, a dismissed CRPF constable who was declared by the Samajwadi Party as its Varanasi candidate in the last Lok Sabha elections.

CBI Conducting Searches
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against 7 accused under relevant Sections of IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act on certain allegations including bribery etc with regard to irregularities related to admission in a private medical institute.
Searches are being conducted at the residential premises of accused at Lucknow and Delhi which have led to recovery of certain incriminating documents including investments and financial transactions etc, as of now. Further details are awaited.

IED Blast in Front of Mega Store in Manipur
A low-intensity Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off near a mega store at Chingmeirong locality here on Friday, police said.
A mobile phone to trigger the explosion, a senior police officer told PTI, adding, the explosion occurred around 6 am.
There was no report of any casualty or damage to property, the police officer said.
The commandoes of Imphal Police are investigating the case, he said.

NSE Appoints Girish Chandra Chaturvedi as New Chairman
Leading stock exchange NSE on Friday said it has appointed Public Interest Director Girish Chandra Chaturvedi as its new chairman.
The appointment comes following the approval of the markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi).
The position was vacant since Ashok Chawla resigned as the chairman of the National Stock Exchange(NSE) in January.
In a statement, the bourse said Chaturvedi has been appointed as the chairman of the governing board of the NSE with the approval of Sebi, effective Friday.
