Trump Says G7 Summit to Be Held at Camp David
US President Donald Trump said Tuesday the G7 summit would be held at his official Camp David residence, having earlier come under fire for choosing his own Florida golf resort.
"We are going to do it at Camp David," Trump told reporters in London ahead of the NATO summit.
Trump had wanted to host next year's 10-12 June gathering of the leaders of major economies at the Trump National Doral resort outside Miami, but he backed down in October after he was accused of seeking profit from US diplomacy.

UP Raj Bhavan Gets Threat Letter
Uttar Pradesh Raj Bhavan on Tuesday got a letter threatening to blow it up if the Governor does not leave the place in 10 days time.
A Raj Bhavan statement said the letter was from TSPC, a Jharkhand extremist group. It threatened to blow up the Raj Bhavan with dynamite.
The matter is being taken seriously, the statement added.
Hemath Rao, additional chief secretary to Governor Anandiben Patel, has sent the letter to the state's home department, it said.

MP Farmer Claims Onions Worth Rs 30k Stolen
A farmer has alleged that thieves harvested and carted away seven quintals of onions worth over Rs 30,000 from his field in Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh, police said on Tuesday.
Onions, now the staple of political debates besides the kitchen due to its skyrocketing prices, are retailing at Rs 100-120 per kilogram across the country.
The incident here, which took place in the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, is the second one reported in the state over the last few days.

Rare Gauguin from Tahiti Period up for Auction in Paris
A rare canvas by French post-impressionist artist Paul Gauguin from his period on the Polynesian island of Tahiti is set to go on auction in Paris on Tuesday, with an estimate of 5 to 7 million euros ($5.5-7.7 million).
There is keen interest in the sale at the Artcurial auction house amid growing controversy over Gauguin's relationships with young girls in Tahiti and his depictions of them.
The painting, "Te Bourao II", is one of the few works by Gauguin from his Tahiti period still in private hands. It dates from 1897 and shows an evocative Tahiti landscape.

Charred Body Recovered from Scrap Godown in South Delhi's Tuglakabad Village
An unidentified charred body was recovered from a scrap godown in south Delhi's Tuglakabad village where a fire had broken shortly after midnight, Delhi Fire Service official said on Tuesday.
The fire department said they received a call at about 12.40 am on Tuesday about a fire on the first and second floor a thread and raw materials godown.
The fire also broke out at an adjacent godown from where a charred body was recovered after 23 fire tenders brought the blaze under control by 5.40 am, a senior fire official said.

Man Lies down in Front of Rajnath Singh's Convoy Demanding Change of Name in Aadhaar Card
A 35-year-old man lay down on the road near Parliament on Tuesday when Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's convoy was approaching, police said.
The man, identified as Vishambhar Das Gupta, a resident of Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh, has been detained and taken to the Parliament Street Police Station.
When the convoy was near Parliament, the man lied down on the road around 1.25 pm, demanding that he be allowed to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he wanted to get his name in the Aadhaar card changed, police said.

Australia to Cease All Bilateral Aid to Pakistan, Says Report
Australia would cease all bilateral aid to Pakistan, including support to programmes helping poor women and girls, as the funds were being redirected to meet new commitments in the Pacific, according to the latest Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) report.
The report titled 'Aid Program Performance report 2018-19 on Pakistan' said Pakistan bilateral aid programme will be reduced to 19 million Australian dollars in 2019-20, and will fully phase out during 2020-21.
"However aid to Pakistan will continue through DFAT's regionally and globally funded programs, including Australia Awards scholarships," it added.

2010s Hottest Decade in History, UN Says as Emissions Rise Again
This decade is set to be the hottest in history, the United Nations said on Tuesday, 3 December in an annual assessment outlining the ways in which climate change is outpacing humanity's ability to adapt to it.
The World Meterological Organization said global temperatures so far this year were 1.1 degrees Celsius (two degrees Farenheit) above the pre-industrial average, putting 2019 on course to be in the top three warmest years ever recorded.
Manmade emissions from burning fossil fuels, building infrastructure, growing crops and transporting goods mean 2019 is set to break the record for atmospheric carbon concentrations, locking in further warming, the WMO said.

Two Injured After Smoke Grenade Explodes in Indonesia's Jakarta
Two Indonesian soldiers were injured Tuesday after a smoke grenade detonated near Jakarta's national monument, but authorities ruled out an attack.
The blast occurred around 7:00 am local time (1200 GMT) as military and police personnel were taking a morning jog around the leafy grounds in the centre of the capital.
"We're now investigating why the smoke grenade was there," Jakarta police chief Gatot Eddy told reporters, adding that the two injured had been rushed to hospital.
