Moradabad Man Stabs His Own Children
A man was arrested on Friday in Nirmalpur village for killing his two children.
"He had stabbed his four children with a pair of scissors. One died on spot, another died under treatment. He suspected his wife of having an illicit affair, so he did this," the police told ANI.

26 Child Labourers Rescued from a Biscuit Factory in Raipur
26 children, working at a biscuit factory in Raipur, were rescued by teams of Child Protection Committee on Friday.
“We've been running a drive against child labour from 10-15 June and rescued 24 children across Raipur. Today our team went to a biscuit factory from where rescued we found 26 children,” District Child Protection Officer told ANI.
“They've been sent to children's home. We'll do their counselling tomorrow and take action against the factory management,” he added.

Shivpal Yadav's Party to Contest 2022 UP Elections
Shivpal Yadav on Friday said that his party will contest the 2022 elections in Uttar Pradesh on its own.
“We've decided to contest 2022 elections. We've to strengthen the party so that in 2022, Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) forms a government on its own. Rumours are that there'll be a merger, this should put an end to all that,” he said.
“Our party will stay Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), our election symbol will stay that of a key and our party will form the government in UP in 2022,” he added.

Beijing Confirms Chinese Trawler Hit Philippine Boat
Beijing confirmed on Saturday that a Chinese vessel hit a Philippine fishing boat in a collision which has increased tensions in the disputed South China Sea, but denied claims it was a "hit and run".
The Chinese trawler sailed away after the incident Sunday near Reed Bank that sank the fishing boat, sparking outrage from Philippine authorities and media.
While President Rodrigo Duterte has largely set aside the once tense stand-off with China over the resource-rich waterway, many in the Philippines bristle at Beijing's actions in the sea.
The Chinese embassy in Manila said the crew of trawler Yuemaobinyu 42212 "bumped into" the Philippine boat and then left due to safety fears.
"The Chinese captain tried to rescue the Filipino fisherman, but was afraid of being besieged by other Filipino fishing boats," the statement said.

'Jungle-Raj' Prevailing in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh tells Governor
Alleging that "jungle-raj" was prevailing in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav met Governor Ram Naik on Saturday over the poor law and order situation and asked him to "wake up" the Yogi Adityanath government as he used to do during the SP regime.
"The Governor used to intervene on law and order earlier (during SP regime). It was said that there were only Yadav officers...Now there is hardly any Yadav SP or DM. We have requested him (Governor) to wake up the government and give direction to control the prevailing 'jungle-raj'," the SP chief told reporters after meeting the Governor.
He, along with senior party leader Ahmad Hasan, gave a memorandum to the Governor and sought his intervention to check deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

Bridge in China Collapses, Sending Vehicles Into River
An entire section of a roadway bridge has plunged into a wide river in southern China, sending two vehicles into the water and leaving two people missing.
Heyuan city police said the 120-meter (390-foot) section collapsed early Friday morning.
China's Xinhua News Agency reported that two nearby security guards rescued a 44-year-old man, and two other people remained missing.
Dramatic footage on state broadcaster CCTV showed two arches of the six-arch bridge falling apart within seconds and without any apparent warning.

3 of Family Killed as Truck Crashes Into House in Odisha
Three members of a family were killed on Saturday after a sand-laden truck rammed into their house in Odisha’s Koraput district in the early hours, police said.
The incident took place at Bhejitput under the jurisdiction of Sunabeda police station of the district after driver of the truck lost control over it, a police officer said, adding, the deceased, a couple and their eight-year-old daughter, were crushed to death.
All them were asleep at the time of the accident, he said.

He expressed concerns about growing business activities of North Koreans in Nepal.
