The Genesis Foundation is hosting a music festival in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh to raise funds for critically ill children who cannot afford medical treatment.
These children are cared for by the foundation and range from few days old to 18 years of age. The organisation has held similar music festivals in the later part of 2015 in places like Goa, Pune and Delhi.
The fifth edition of the Kasauli RnB music festival will be held over two days. It will be marked by singers from various musical backgrounds.

The Genesis Foundation (GF) is a non-profit organisation established in the early 2000s. The founders felt the need to provide for the underprivileged children after they lost their own child, according to GF website.
The organisation cares for children affected with various diseases – cancer, cardiac disorder, post organ transplant, thalassemia and extreme deformities.
So far, Genesis Foundation claims to have supported medical treatment of over 850 critically ill children.
The children supported by the Foundation belong to families with an income of less than Rs 10,000 per month and the parents are unable to afford treatment of these children suffering from serious life threatening ailments.
