Swami Aseemanand was acquitted in the 2007 Ajmer Dargah bomb blast case that had killed three people.

Sunil Joshi (who has passed away), Bhavesh Patel, and Devendra Gupta were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment.

A powerful time bomb rocked the compound of the Ajmer Dargah on the evening of 11 October 2007 and authorities allegedly found the involvement of the Hindu right-wing organisation Abhinav Bharat.
