A girl named Reshma Begum, who was trafficked to Saudi Arabia in July 2017, has been rescued from Riyadh, ANI reported.
Speaking to ANI, Hyderabad-based Begum said she was forced to go there on the pretext of a nursing job. However, once there, she was stuck as a house maid, and was beaten and tortured by the owners every day.
Begum thanked the Indian Embassy and the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for rescuing her within one week.
