Personalities like sportsperson Viswanathan Anand, actor Dhanush, music maestro AR Rahman, and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar are also voicing their support.
However, people opposing Jallikattu are arguing in favour of animals’ rights and say that a tradition that is harming animals and people alike shouldn’t be blindly followed.
