Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, 4 July, said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had never used power as a tool to advance its own vested interests but had always seen it as a means to serve the people.
Addressing to party workers virtually, PM Modi said that the BJP had always committed itself to the selfless service of the nation.
PM Modi also praised BJP cadres for their dedicated service to the nation through ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’ campaign. He also paid tributes to those party workers, who had lost their lives while serving the nation during this pandemic.
Praising party workers in Bhojpuri, he said “many people were saying that COVID-19 will spread faster in eastern parts of the country due to high temperatures. But you all have proved it wrong,”
Earlier on Friday, PM Modi visited Ladakh where he interacted with the soldiers and also took stock of the situation amidst the tense standoff with China. He also visited the hospital, where the soldiers injured in the Galwan Valley clashes are undergoing treatment.
