None Should Dare to Cast an Evil Eye on us: Pak Army Chief
Pakistan Army Chief said that they are capable of giving a befitting response to India’s “misadventures”.
Pakistan Army Chief Raheel Sharif on Wednesday took serious note of the Indian offensive on militants in Myanmar.
Sharif condemned the “hostile rhetoric” by India and said that Pakistan is capable of giving a befitting reply to any “misadventures” by India. He also said that Pakistan should not be mistaken to be Myanmar and that no one should cast an evil eye on the country.
Sharif made the remarks while chairing the Formation Commanders Conference in Rawalpindi comprising top military commanders to review the ongoing operation against militants in the country.
The commanders also discussed the threat by India in the light of recent anti-Pakistan “rhetoric” by Indian leaders.
The comments came in the backdrop of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks against Pakistan in Dhaka and saying it was aimed at fanning hatred and souring its ties with Bangladesh.
