On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation from, and hoisted the tricolour at Red Fort to commemorate the 70th year of Indian independence.

Dignitaries from across the world, eminent professionals, and school students were present at the venue.

The Prime Minister’s speech began at around 7:30 am. This was Modi’s third Independence Day speech as the Prime Minister of India.
