Alleging assault by the public for supporting Bharatiya Janata Party, PM Modi’s lookalike, Abhinandan Pathak has said that he will now join the Congress party. In an interview to ANI, Pathak said that he has to face people’s anger with BJP.

He said that people keep asking him “when will the promised Acche Din (good days) come?”

Pathak, who has been supporting and campaigning for BJP for years, says he will join the Congress party and campaign for them in upcoming 2019 elections.

Pathak also expressed his concerns regarding BJP. According to him the party is functioning in a manner which is at odds with PM Modi’s ideology and said that he is shocked to see the way government is working.

Pathak belongs to Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh and earlier this year had participated in door-to-door campaign for the BJP during the Gorakhpur by-polls.
