The slain jawans who were killed in the Pulwama attack were laid to rest. A wreath laying ceremony was performed for CRPF jawan Mohd Yaseen Tali.

Defence Minister Arun Jaitley condoled the death of the eight security personnel.
Jammu and Kashmir Police chief SP Vaid asserted that there was "no security lapse" in the 'fidayeen' (suicide) attack.
"You cannot prevent (an attack) if somebody is ready to die," he told reporters. He said the militants had taken shelter in the family quarters of the complex.
In an encounter in Pulwama, two terrorists and eight security personnel have been killed. These include four policemen and four CRPF jawans. Furthermore, five security personnel have also been injured, say police.
One terrorist has been gunned down by the security personnel who have been battling militants holed up at the DPL quarters in Pulwama. Two more terroristws are reportedly holed up.
Speaking to ANI, Lt Gen JS Sandhu said that families have been evacuated from the quarters where the operations are underway.
He said that the terrorists had entered family quarters at the District Police Lines in Pulwama.
Two CRPF jawans were killed in the encounter, including one who succumbed to injuries, taking the total death toll of security personnel to three.
A CRPF head constable sustained a head injury, and his condition has been declared critical. He was evacuated from the site by a helicopter.
One Police Man Killed in Encounter
One policeman was killed in a predawn militant attack on the district police lines in Pulwama district of Kashmir on 26 August. Two to three militants are believed to be hiding in the area and an encounter is underway.
Four Personnel Injured, Evacuation Efforts Under Process
Four security personnel, including 3 CRPF jawans and 1 Jammu and Kashmir policeman were also injured in the encounter. The terrorists have been localised into two blocks, with sporadic firing occurring.
Efforts to evacuate people from nearby areas is under process, reported ANI. Internet services have also been suspended in the district.
The militants opened fire on DPL Pulwama at around 4:30 am resulting in injuries, a police official told PTI.
He said the security forces retaliated and cross firing was going on till last reports came in.
Extra forces have been rushed to the area, he added.
