Delhi Vehicles To Have Coloured Stickers to Indicate Nature of Fuel

The Supreme Court on Monday accepted the suggestions of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) to have hologram-based coloured stickers on vehicles which would indicate the nature of fuel being used.

The MoRTH told a bench headed by Justice M B Lokur that hologram-based sticker of light-blue colour will be used for petrol and CNG run vehicles while similar sticker of orange colour would be placed on diesel vehicles.

Tamil Nadu Woman Sets Her 3-Month-Old Baby and Herself on Fire

A 25-year-old Tamil Nadu woman allegedly killed her three-month-old baby boy by setting him on fire, before committing self immolation, reported PTI.

Hearing cries, others in the house rushed and saw the mother and her baby engulfed in flames. They doused the flames and rushed the woman and child to a nearby hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.

The woman had been staying at her parent's house since her son was born. Her motive is being investigated.
