The Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid announced on Thursday, 14 June, evening, that Eid will be celebrated on Saturday, 16 June, as there was no sight of moon anywhere across the country on Thursday, reported ANI. However, in Kerala, Eid will be celebrated on Friday as the moon was sighted in Kozhikode, a top cleric said, reported PTI.
