The demand for a farm loan waiver in Karnataka was accepted at a coordination committee meeting held between Congress and JD(S) leaders in Bengaluru on Sunday. The meeting was attended by coordination committee head Siddaramaiah, Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy and deputy CM G Parameshwara, reported ANI.

Speaking after the meeting, JD(S) leader Danish Ali said:

Farm loan waiver has been accepted by the committee. The details will be revealed when the budget will be presented… 10 Lakh houses will be built in the next five years. New sports policies will be framed. Major focus will be on skill development to create new jobs.
