Haryana Woman Urges CM to Build Toilets in Rewari

Priyanka, a resident of Haryana’s Rewari, has written to admin, urging them to build toilets at public spaces in city; says "Also wrote to CMO Chandigarh. Commissioner & Nagar Parishad's Executive Officer have been asked to submit report. Existing toilets occupied by anti-social elements"

Executive Officer Nagar Parishad, Rewari, Manoj Yadav said, “We have done the estimation and tenders have been passed. Work will begin soon. Wherever we are building toilets, we are building for women as well as men.”

2 Militants Killed in an Encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian

Two militants were gunned down by Jammu and Kashmir police in Rebben area of Zainapora in District Shopian after a cordon and a search operation was launched in the wee hours of Sunday, 18 November.

Based on a credible input about the presence of militants, a cordon and search operation was launched by police and security forces, reported ANI.

“As search operation was going on, search party was fired upon by the hiding militants. The fire was retaliated leading to an encounter. In the ensuing encounter, 2 militants were killed and bodies were retrieved from site of encounter. Identities are being ascertained,” said an official from Jammu and Kashmir police, reported ANI.

According to the officials, incriminating materials including arms and ammunition were recovered from the site of encounter. Police has registered a case and initiated investigation in the matter.
