Fuel Prices Continue to Soar

Fuel prices in Delhi reached a new high with petrol and diesel at Rs 83.22 per litre and Rs 74.42 per litre respectively, ANI reported.

Petrol and Diesel prices in Mumbai are at Rs 90.57 per litre and Rs 79.01 per litre, respectively.

Principal Booked in Hyderabad for Allegedly Sodomising an 8-Year-Old

Telangana police has taken the principal of a school in Hyderabad's Rajendranagar in custody for allegedly sodomising an 8-yr-old student in his office, ANI reported.

A case has been registered under POCSO Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. The accused principal will be sent to judicial remand.

Haryana Releases 13,899 Cusec of Water Into Yamuna

Haryana has released 13899 cusec of water from Hathni Kund Barrage in Yamuna Nagar district today morning, reported ANI.

The release of water has been pushed from 205.17 and the level of Yamuna river near OId Delhi Railway Bridge was recorded at 205.92 metres at 7 AM today morning.

Class 10th and 12th Students of Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) have threatened to take their demand for putting off the exams to streets, reported Greater Kashmir.

Petition stated that ordinance is in violation of Article 14, 15, 20, 21 and 25 of the Constitution of India. The High Court in its reply said, "once Supreme Court says the act is unconstitutional, it is for the government to decide."

Tariq Anwar Quits NCP over Pawar's 'Clean Chit' to Modi

Nationalist Congress Party's founding member Tariq Anwar Friday quit the party and announced he is giving up his Lok Sabha membership, saying he left aggrieved by the party's national president Sharad Pawar's "clean chit" to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Rafale deal.
