A 30-year-old woman was found dead at Shamli railway station in UP, a government railway police official said on Tuesday.
A two-and-half-year-old girl was also found weeping near the unidentified deceased on Monday, the GRP official said.

Around 350 kg of sea cucumber valued at Rs 70 lakh, meant to be smuggled out of the country, was seized at Pamban near Rameswaram on Tuesday, Marine police officials said.
The officials, acting on a tip-off about smuggling of sea cucumber, carried out checks near the bus stand here.
However, one van sped away without stopping. The Marine police officials alerted personnel at the Pamban checkpost, who stopped the van.
During a search of the vehicle, the sea cucumber hidden in seven sacks was found, police said.

Two children were killed when a wall collapsed on them in Rampur Bhawanipur village in Barabanki, the police said on Tuesday.
Kaif and Wasif, both aged 4, were playing near the wall when it collapsed on them on Monday evening, they said.
The bodies were taken out of the debris and sent for postmortem.

The EU said on Tuesday it hopes that a temporary pact to distribute migrants between France, Germany, Italy and Malta will win broader backing from other member states.
"The text now needs to be taken into the wider context," European Commission spokeswoman Natasha Bertaud told journalists.
She noted that "at this stage we're not talking about a European Union system" for sharing migrants -- a touchy issue the commission had tried to bring in four years ago but which ran up against fierce opposition from some eastern countries in the bloc.
The details of the four-nation agreement are to be presented at a meeting of all EU justice and interior ministers on 7 and 8 October.

Three people were killed and six injured when an SUV carrying panchayat poll candidates and their supporters fell into a deep gorge in Uttarakhand's Tehri Garhwal district on Tuesday, police said.

The CBI has arrested a deputy Chief Controller of Explosives, Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) in Mangalore for allegedly receiving a bribe of Rs 50,000, the agency said in a statement on Tuesday.
It was alleged that SM Manna DCCE had sought a bribe of Rs 50,000 for submitting inspection reports to PESO (HQ), Nagpur in connection with the issue and renewal of licenses in respect of Sanghvi Cylinders Pvt Ltd based at Belgaum, Karnataka.
