Petrol and diesel prices witnessed a dip for the third consecutive day on Saturday. Petrol price in Delhi decreased by Rs 0.39 at Rs 81.99 per litre, while diesel was priced at Rs 75.36 per litre (fall of Rs 0.12).
Petrol and diesel prices in Mumbai were at Rs 87.46 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.38) and Rs 79.00 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.13), respectively.

The counting of votes for the recently concluded municipal polls began in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday amid heavy security. Poll officials said that the counting started at 8 am, and all the results would be declared later in the day.

Saudi Arabia on Saturday said Khashoggi, 60, was killed inside its consulate in Istanbul after "discussions" at the consulate devolved into an altercation, without disclosing any details on the whereabouts of his body.

Health Minister JP Nadda said that the candidates for 77 seats out of 90 in the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections have been decided. “Former IAS officer OP Chaudhary will be contesting from Chhattisgarh's Kharsia constituency,” Nadda said in a statement to ANI.
“For the upcoming Telangana Assembly polls candidates for 38 seats have been decided and for Mizoram Assembly polls candidates for 13 seats have been decided,” Nadda added.
