China on Monday ordered domestic airlines to suspend commercial operation of the Boeing 737 MAX 8, citing the crash of an Ethiopian Airlines flight of that model after takeoff from Addis Ababa.
Operation of the 737 MAX 8 aircraft will resume after "confirming the relevant measures to effectively ensure flight safety", China's Civil Aviation Administration said in a statement.

A fire broke out on the sixth floor of Vikas Bhawan near ITO in central Delhi, reported PTI. The DFS received a call about the fire at around 12.10 PM.
Five fire tenders were rushed to spot and the blaze was brought under control, Atul Garg, Chief Fire Officer told the news agency.

A six-year-old boy drowned in a water tank inside the premises of a government school in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, police said on Monday.
Aahil Mirza, a resident of Ujjan village, accidentally fell into the water tank while playing on Sunday evening, they said.
His body was recovered from the underground tank and handed over to his family for the last rites after the completion of legal formalities, the police said.

Russia's arms export to India, the world's second largest importer of major arms, fell by a whopping 42 percent between 2014-18 and 2009-2013, according to a SIPRI report.
