19,067 New COVID Cases in Karnataka; 12,793 From Bengaluru

19067 new cases of COVID19, death of 81 patients,4603 discharges and 22065 vaccinated in Karnataka today. Out of this, 12793 news cases are from Bengaluru.

Till date,1161065 positive cases have been confirmed in the state. This includes 1014152 discharges and 13351 deaths (plus 19 deaths due to non covid cause).

Among 133543 active cases,620 are admitted in ICU.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced a reward of Rs 7 lakhs on Maoist leader Madvi Hidma who was the mastermind behind the killing of 22 soldiers in the Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. The bounty, however, pertains to the killing of Chhattisgarh legislator Bhima Mandavi in 2019.
