Dismissing speculations that TRS could join BJP-led NDA, state BJP President K Laxman said there is ‘zero possibility’ of BJP striking a deal with TRS. “We firmly believe that BJP will form the government on its own. We foresee no need of a regional party like TRS supporting us,” Laxman said.

Nama Nageshwara Rao is contesting on the car symbol of the TRS in the 2019 polls when in the past, as a TDP candidate he had contested on the cycle symbol. It was just before the polls that he joined the TRS and got the ticket.
