• Delhi Court ordered discussion on putting Congress leader Jagdish Tytler through a lie detector test on 16 March, over 1984 anti-Sikh riot case.
• Abhishek Verma, an arms dealer who was also issued a notice by the court on CBI plea, agreed to sit for a lie detector test.
• The pogrom that followed the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in October 1984 led to the killing of nearly 3,000 Sikhs.
