Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is "absolutely fine and stable", a state minister said on Monday, 26 February, a day after he was admitted to a Goa hospital following complaints of uneasiness, reported PTI.
"The chief minister remains admitted in hospital but he is absolutely fine and stable," state Health Minister Vishwajit Rane told PTI.
Parrikar was re-admitted to GMCH on Sunday, 25 February, following complaints of dehydration and blood pressure trouble.
The Chief Medical Officer of GMC said that Parrikar was responding well to the treatment and has been kept under observation.
Parrikar presented the Budget in the Goa state assembly on Thursday, 22 February, after being discharged from the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where he was undergoing treatment for a pancreatic ailment. He was admitted at the Mumbai hospital a week ago.
