For the second consecutive day, Delhi-NCR woke up to thick fog on Thursday morning, resulting in temporary suspensions of flight operations at the Delhi Airport.

Visibility was recorded to be below 50 metres.

Jet Airways, IndiGo and SpiceJet announced delays and rescheduling of their flights anticipating poor visibility.

The thick cover of fog led to collision of at least 12 vehicles into each other at the Yamuna Expressway. One person is reportedly dead and 10 are seriously injured, reported news agency ANI.
