One Militant Killed During Police Encounter in J&K’s Pulwama

A militant was killed during an encounter between the security forces and militants in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Wednesday, 6 February, ANI reported.
The area has been cordoned-off and while search operations by police forces are on. There are no reports of any casualties so far.
The slain militant was identified as Irfan Ahmed Sheikh, resident of Chakoora, Pulwama, according to the ANI report. The report added that Sheikh was a militant commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba.
