Professor Amartya Sen, renowned economist and philosopher, on Thursday attacked the practice of terming people ‘anti national’ for not toeing a certain line.
The Nobel Laureate went on to say that caste is anti national, ‘because it divides the nation’, and one could only be national by eliminating all divisions.
Sen was speaking at an event at the London School of Economics (LSE) to mark the 125th birth anniversary of Dalit rights activist Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, a former LSE student.
