Controversial BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has shot off an official request to the Home Ministry on Friday to declare President’s rule in Tamil Nadu in view of the “administrative disarray” in the state as a result of the hospitalisation of Chief Minister Jayalalitha.

Swamy, in his letter, has alleged that due to the current “ad-hoc administrative rule” in the state, many ISIS sleeper cells have been activated in Tamil Nadu in the regions of Ramanathapuram, Tirunveli and Madurai, thus posing a serious law and order problem for the country.
