1. Drunk Man Kills Girl for Talking to Other Boys in Delhi
The police claimed to have solved the murder of a 17-year-old girl in Shalimar Bagh after nabbing the prime suspect, Sunny (24), from Bihar’s Darbhanga. He has confessed to killing the girl by slitting her throat during an argument, an officer said.
DCP (northwest) Aslam Khan said Sunny was arrested after being questioned in Delhi. The accused told cops that they were in a relationship for some time and often used to meet in his room in a JJ Colony in Shalimar Bagh. However, they recently parted ways as Sunny didn’t like her talking to other boys.

2. 6-Year-Old Raped, Murdered in Pipariya
A six-year-old girl, who was reported missing in Pipariya town of Hoshangabad on Wednesday, 31 October, was found raped and murdered on late on Saturday, 3 November. Tension gripped the area as soon as news of the barbaric crime spread, and a mob set a house on fire in the child’s locality.
The girl was playing alone on the street when she was kidnapped. Police had no clues to begin with so they scanned CCTV footage all roads leading to the area and zeroed in on the suspect taking her away on a bicycle. “She girl was lured with a chocolate, and taken to a desolate place where she was raped and strangled,” Hoshangabad SP Arvind Tiwari told The Times of India.

3. ‘Pay 10 Lakh Or Face Rape Charge’: Noida Woman Arrested Over Blackmail
A woman has been arrested in Greater Noida for allegedly blackmailing a man and threatening to implicate him in a false rape case if he did not pay Rs. 10 lakh to her, police said Monday, 5 November.
The incident was reported from Lakhnawali village in Greater Noida and the accused was arrested on Sunday, 4 November, police said.

4. Two Girls Found Stabbed to Death in West Bengal, Father Arrested
Two young girls were stabbed to death in West Bengal’s Purba Medinipur district for which their father has been arrested, police said on Monday, 5 November.
“We were alerted by locals of Barabari village that two girls of a family were stabbed to death. Their father Biplab Kumar Das, 34, was arrested after his wife lodged a formal complaint,” a police officer of Bhabanipur police station said.

5. Suspecting an Affair, Mumbai Man Attacks, Kills His Partner’s Friend
A 26-year-old businessman from Vashi died of injuries he sustained when he intervened in a fight between an estranged couple on Sunday, 4 November.
Parth Rawal, 26, suffered a blow to the back of his head from Dhawal Unadkat, 25, who suspected Mohammed Asif Komarangala, 25, of cheating on Unadkat with Rawal. Approximately six hours later, on Sunday evening, Rawal was declared dead on arrival at Lilavati Hospital.
Unadkat was identified as Rawal’s attacker by Komarangala in his statement to the police.

6. Man Held With Rs 12 Lakh in Foreign Currency
An alert sub-inspector on duty at Terminal 2 of the Mumbai airport on Sunday, 3 November, morning helped the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) seize assorted foreign currency worth Rs 12.09 lakh from a passenger flying to Tel Aviv.
Assistant Inspector General, CISF, Hemendra Singh, said that during the security check before boarding at the security hold area of Terminal 2, sub-inspector Pradeep Kumar Yadav found $10,000 that a passenger had concealed in his socks. Subsequently, $5,000 and 5,800 Israeli shekel were recovered on screening his hand baggage.

7. Girl Commits Suicide After 2 Try to Rape her in Gurugram
A 17-year-old girl in Tauru allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide after two neighbours attempted to rape her on Sunday, 4 November, night. An FIR was registered at Tauru police station in Nuh on Monday, 5 November.
The grandfather of the teenager told police said she was assaulted when the family had gone to a nearby village to condole a relative’s death. Upon returning home, he said, they found her lying unconscious. She was then rushed to Hassan Khan Mewati Government Medical College.

8. Kolkata Woman Burned To Death Allegedly By Husband, Mother-In-Law
A 22-year-old woman in Kolkata's Baguihati area sought justice before succumbing to burn injuries, after which her husband and two others have been arrested, police said on Monday, 5 November.
"Sangita Das suffered burn injuries on October 26 and she died on November 3. Her husband, Amarnath Das, 25, her mother-in-law Rima Das and Tanaya Chattopadhyay have been arrested," a police official said.

9. UP Woman Dies During Abortion, Boyfriend Throws Body In Jungle
A man was arrested in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar in connection with the death of his girlfriend in Kutubpur village, police said on 5 November.
The woman's body was found near a forest in Muzaffarnagar On September 18, following which an investigation was started, Senior Superintendent of Police Sudhir Kumar said.
It was found that the woman – Asmin – was pregnant, and died during an abortion attempt, Mr Kumar told news agency PTI.
