Total number of COVID-19 cases in India rises to 40,263, including 28,070 active cases, 10,887 cured, and 1,306 deaths, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

After a staff serving one of the top officers of CRPF tested COVID-19 positive, CRPF Headquarters in Delhi has been sealed for sanitisation till further orders. No one will be allowed to enter the building.

In a show of solidarity, the Indian Armed Forces honoured COVID-19 warriors, with the IAF carrying out a flypast and showering petals on hospital buildings and frontline workers.

'Delhi Ready To Re-open, Lockdown Hampering Economy,' Says Kejriwal

While announcing the new set of rules and regulations for Lockdown 3.0, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that categorising entire Delhi under red zone will hamper the economy and result in unemployment.
