“Recovery rate in India continues to improve and is presently 41.61 percent,” according to the Health Ministry.

Six hundred and forty-six new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in Tamil Nadu today, taking the total number of positive cases to 17,728. The death toll is at 127 after 9 deaths were reported today. There are 8,256 active cases now, theState Health Department said, reports ANI.

“1,002 new COVID-19 positive cases and 39 deaths have been reported in Mumbai today. Total positive cases rise to 32,791 and death toll stands at 1,065,” the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
“No new positive case of COVID-19 reported in Goa today. Nine more people have recovered; there are 39 active cases in the state now,”said the Directorate of Health Services, Goa, reports ANI.
“Haryana has recorded 94 new COVID-19 cases, including 33 from Gurgaon; state's count rises to 1,305,” the Health Department said, reports PTI.
A 50-year-old man who is a member of security staff in Air India and is a permanent resident of Delhi has tested positive for coronavirus. He came back from Delhi on 25 May on board a domestic flight, the District Public Relations Office, Ludhiana said, reports ANI.
