24 college students in Chennai were detained by the police after a stunt went horribly wrong. A large number of students had climbed on top of a government bus, creating a ruckus, having zero regard about both their own safety and that of passersby and traffic.

According to a Times of India report, the students were celebrating Bus Day.

Most of the students sustained injuries after the bus had to come to a sudden halt to avoid hitting the bike in the front, which had made an abrupt stop.

The visuals show a large number of students falling on the road due to the impact of braking. Even the bike rider in front of the bus fell, with many falling on top of him.

The TOI report further said that students only sustained minor injuries.
