  • Three Army jawans who went missing after being hit by an avalanche in the Tangdhar region of the Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir, lost their lives on Wednesday, 4 December, reported ANI quoting sources.
  • Several jawans hit by the avalanche have been rescued earlier on Tuesday.
  • On 30 November, two Army personnel were killed after an avalanche hit their patrol at an altitude of about 18,000 feet in southern region of the Siachen Glacier.
