AMU, IIT-D, DU Websites Hacked; ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ Flashed
A popular song by Pakistani rock band, Zeest, plays as soon as the websites are opened.
In a case of serial hacking, the official websites of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), University of Delhi (DU) and Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D), were hacked on Tuesday.
Upon logging in, all three websites flashed the same message and appear to have been hacked by the same person or group, most likely based in Pakistan.

At the bottom of the page, a message is signed off by the abbreviation ‘PHC’ – it’s not clear yet what that stands for.
Finally at the bottom, the hacker signs off with ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.
Omar Saleem Peerzada, Public Relations Officer at AMU posted to his Facebook page saying:
Sharjeel Usmani, a student at AMU, told The Quint that the university website in particular was not hacked, but the main server in Delhi – which is also linked to other educational institutions – has been compromised. According to PTI, at least seven other websites were hacked into.
Last week, 30 Pakistani government websites were hacked in retaliation to Pakistan’s announcement of the death penalty to former Indian Navy officer, Kulbhushan Jadhav.
