Shocking! Hyderabad Teen Delivers Baby Girl in School Washroom
A class 9 student delivered a baby girl in her school washroom.
A 13-year-old delivered a baby in her school washroom in a suburb in Hyderabad. Although the incident took place on Saturday in
Madhapur, it became public only on Monday. Neither the girl’s parents nor the school authorities were aware of the pregnancy.
School staff and teachers have claimed the girl covered her stomach with a scarf and kept a bag in front of her abdomen, covering it, when seated.
When the girl complained of stomach pain during a class, her teacher asked her to visit the washroom, where she delivered the baby. The school authorities then informed her parents.
The girl and her daughter are safe and in hospital.
A probe has been ordered. Preliminary inquiries have revealed a youth named Dinesh accompanied her to school, and he may be responsible. The police have booked a case against him.
