Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh refuted the comments made by Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha on Wednesday. Singh alleged that the Congress vice president “misled” the house on the Naga Accord by making “false and baseless” statements.

Minutes after Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of not consulting the home minister on the Naga Accord, Rajnath tweeted a counter to Rahul’s claim.

Earlier in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi had questioned the way in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi dealt with the issue of the Naga Accord.

Even the home minister was not aware of the Naga Accord which PM signed. Most important question, where is Naga Accord now? It’s gone with the wind.
