Minor Allegedly Raped and Set Ablaze in Greater Noida

A girl was allegedly raped and then set ablaze by her boyfriend in Greater Noida district in Uttar Pradesh, according to IBNLive. The girl has suffered 80 percent of burns.

The incident reportedly took place in Bisrakh village in Greater Noida when the girl, a minor, was sexually assaulted and later set ablaze by her boyfriend. The victim, who somehow managed to survive the assault, was admitted to a local hospital.

She was later shifted to Safdarjung hospital in Delhi.

The victim’s father said the incident happened late night and has demanded strict action against the accused.

The accused is a local youth and he was harassing my daughter for the last few months. We want stern action against him.
